And my reasons are a c/p from what a posted at crescendo's post, but. Shush.

1. It's one of the few available in my monitor's crazy size.
2. It pings my love for lots of bright and weird colors.
3. It's got enough space so I can see my desktop icons.
4. I loev animals doing dorky/awesome things (see icon. :|b)
5. I haven't found anything cooler to replace it with. (This is a hint for those of you who know of cool websites.)

Christmas Cards!

Hey so uh. I'm one of those people who gets a late start on these so I'll apologize in advance for lateness even though I'll try to get these out by Christmas. So! Comment here if you want a card/doodle. :x Comments are screened and all that jazz. I can do overseas and stuff because I love you guys! So yeah, comment with an address and an email too, because if for some reason the cards aren't even in the mail before Christmas I'll be scanning and emailing the doodles out like a maniac. :)b

It figures that the day I get everything smoothly transferred to the laptop would mark a fucking apocalypse. Granted, that's probably one of the stupidest things to be bitching about when god knows when those things will get to us and all I've got is a crummy softball bat from the third grade to defend myself with. Yeah, let me tell you, the range on this thing is not ideal. Me taking a good swing -- yeah, one of those things could easily reach out and grab me without so much as a step forward. Which is kind of sad, considering that they seem to lack motor skills.

Our area's on stand-by for evacuation; I guess it's pretty lucky, seeing as most of LA County's already had to evacuate. I don't really know what the plan is for my family though. I mean, from everything I know about horror movie type apocalypses, you want to hole up somewhere fortified, and stay the fuck away from large masses of people. And when all else fails, kill it with fire.

So maybe staying in the house? I mean, it's got its pluses. The location's decent enough to where it won't be a first target for those things to swarm. But the fact that we don't store up enough food -- how long can this really last though? Probably a lot longer than whatever amount of time the food in our tinyass cabinet can hold. And even then, we're screwed if the power goes out (which it actually might soon, so I better put my phone on the charger now) because half of that needs the microwave. Or toaster. Or coffee maker.
Yeah damnit, looks like if it came down to it I'd have to live off of Dorrito's and Pepsi. And what miiight be an alfajor, but chances are my family will want to fight for the death for that. Sigh.

...Yeah, I'm going to go. I need to draft a battle plan. I hope the rest of you guys are safe.
